This sword is beautiful in the very traditional sense of the samurai. Carved into the scabbard of this sword in Chinese kanji are three of the samurai creeds: " Polite Courtesy ", " Compassion ", and " Complete Sincerity ". The blade of the sword is HQSS stainless steel, already sharpened, with the hamon along the edge of the blade.
